On behalf of the Celtic Studies Association of North America Professor Frederick Suppe is organizing two panels of papers for the 52nd annual International Medieval Studies Congress which will occur in Kalamazoo, Michigan on May 11-14, 2017.  The general rubrics for the two sessions are: "Kinship, Families, and Genealogy in the Various Disciplines of Celtic Studies," and "New Work by Young Celtic Studies Scholars."  Paper proposals are invited which address either of these rubrics based on any specific topic from any of the disciplines relevant to Celtic Studies.  Scholars at any stage of their careers are invited to submit paper proposals and they are required to be members of CSANA at the time they would present a paper under its auspices.  Papers should fit into approximately 20 minutes of presentation time.
   Interested scholars should submit their proposals by the deadline of Thursday, September 15, 2016 to Professor Suppe at fsuppe@bsu.edu or by FAX to 765-285-5612 or by mail to:

A paper proposal should include both a 1 page abstract of the proposed topic and a completed Participant Information Form, which can be accessed online at
