Summer School, organized by The Centre for Medieval Literature (University of Southern Denmark and the University of York) and the Henri Pirenne Institute for Medieval Studies (Ghent University). The theme is: Crossing the Languages of Medieval Europe: Historical, Linguistic and Literary Approaches. The venue is: the Academia Belgica in Rome, 3-8 June 2013. We are especially interested in attracting students from all over Europe (and beyond) who are working on a wide range of topics in a number of disciplines. There is no cost for the Summer School itself and inexpensive accommodation is available in the Belgian Academy. We are offering 4 bursaries (of 500 euro each) to cover travel/accommodation costs. The deadline for application is 15 February.
