Alan Vance
It is with great sadness that I must inform the list that Dr Alan Vince died on Monday, Feb. 23 after a short illness. He will be greatly missed by many.
That is a bit of a blow. He was only 57 too. He kind of went into the wasteland for me after stopping work on London, but his writing on that was a model of clarity and sane exposition of archaeology. I hope there will be more like him.
